Kway is a cooperative made up of 600 members from 14 villages of the Morobe district in the remote Goroka region accessible by a 7 hour 4 wheel drive excursion. The strains of coffee come from the
Jamaica blue mountain region as well as Kenya. Grown at a very high elevation of 6000m, the coffee is wet processed and sun dried and harvested Dec-Jan. The cup characteristics are, very fine acidity full body and excellent aroma with a slight hint of spice. Roast level is just above medium.
